Public Demo, bitches.

Time for that demo I promised! 13 screens of playable demo world await, along with a completed UI, game system, and several catchable, changeable things. My first proper demo release, rather than just a tech demo with all the features crammed in one room.
There's stuff to achieve, things to do, places to see.
So play it, won't you?

Thanks for keeping up with me so far, and here's to even more.

GET THE DEMO HERE!

See if you can catalog all the Things in the demo!

  1. Ha, I was so excited when I found out how to evolve my Hive Grub to an Imbulb, sadly I couldn't hunt down any more, but I'll keep trying! And the only thing I would change in the game is possibly make the walking speed faster, or maybe some sort of running system, but this is not very critical. And the global atmosphere of the game feels really great, I specially hanging out with that guy throwing rocks at the lake, felt really soothing.

    Keep up the great work!

  2. I got your demo and from what I've seen it looks great. But it run really slow on my machine. Unplayabley slow really. I'm running Vista. Know why it may be doing this?

  3. Hey this is really great but I cant figure out how to get the grubs or how to get across the bridge, I'm stuck! I dont normally get stuck so easily. Really great game but can someone tell me how to get the grubs or what to do, im throwing the pebbles at the hive and things are falling out but i cant collect anything. Am i missing something here? Anyways, really great im looking forward to a full release!

  4. Caliber9: If you hit the hive enough times, a grub will fall out.

Klayman: I have no idea. What's your machine like? I don't think I've run into this problem specifically but I know GM-made games can be really slow on some otherwise-fast systems.

kYn: Hope you've found more by now, but if not, try talking to everyone, they'll give you hints on what you might find. Experiment with things, and have patience.
In the full game you can unlock the ability to run, which will also get you access to certain areas a long-jump will make available.

  8. I love it. I would suggest a slower jump time, though, since jumping is right now a kind of frenetic, spring-loaded thing.

I can't wait until this comes out!
